A custom commission designed for a designer kitchen, this magnetic wooden display provides an elegant way to showcase a collection of fine knives. Made out of premium wood and hidden magnets, the piece securely holds the blades, allowing their craftsmanship to take center stage without any visual clutter.

I wanted to make a knife holder that keeps premium knives in focus. By using hidden magnets, the blades edge stay off the wood, so they so they don’t become dull from resting on the wood. After testing a few forms, this simple shape kept the focus on the knives, while using the counter top space efficiently.
